Getting Started with Azure MySQL Database

Complete the necessary setup for backing up Azure MySQL Database.

Procedure

  1. Verify that your environment meets the system requirements.

  2. Configure access to Azure resources.

  3. Complete the database guided setup using one of the following methods:

    • Commvault Cloud Infrastructure: Configure Azure MySQL server database backups using the Commvault Cloud infrastructure. Use this method when Azure MySQL server databases can be accessed using a public endpoint.

    • Backup gateway: Configure Azure database backups using a backup gateway. Use this method when Azure MySQL server databases cannot be accessed using a public endpoint.

  4. Perform a test backup and restore.
