You can create a cloud storage for SAP HANA Server backups with a backup gateway configuration using Air Gap Protect, Amazon S3, Azure Blob Storage, or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure storage.
Prerequisites
If you are using Amazon S3, Azure Blob Storage, or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure storage, configure access to the cloud storage.
Procedure

Click +.
The Add cloud storage dialog box appears.

From the Type list, select where you want the storage to be in.

If you select Air Gap Protect, do the following:
- From the Cloud storage provider list, select the provider.

If you select Microsoft Azure Storage, do the following:

In the Name box, enter a name for the cloud storage.

From the Storage class list, select the storage class for the type of access that you want to have for the data.

From the Region list, select the region.

The Commvault Cloud software populates the Service host box with the default value

From the Authentication list, select the type of authentication to use.

If you select Access key and Account name, do the following:

From the Credentials list, select existing credentials or create new credentials.
Steps to create credential

Click +.
The Add credential dialog box appears. Enter the following details:

Credential vault: Enter a name for the vault that you are creating.

Credential name: Enter a name for the credentials that you are creating.

Access key ID: Enter the access key ID.
-
Account name: Enter the name of the account.
-
Description: Enter a description for the credentials.

Click SAVE.

If you select IAM AD application, do the following:

In the Account name box, enter the name of the account.

From the Credentials list, select existing credentials or create new credentials
Steps to create credential

Click +.
The Add credential dialog box appears. Enter the following details:

Credential Vault: select a credential vault from the list.

Credential name: Enter a name for the credentials that you are creating.

Tenant ID: Enter the tenant ID for the account.

Application ID: Enter the application ID for the tenant.
-
Application secret: Enter the secret key value that is generated for the application.

Environment: Enter the Azure cloud environment.

Show endpoints: To show authentication, storage and management endpoints, move this toggle key to the right.

Description: Enter a description of the credentials.

Click Save.

If you select IAM VM role, enter the following:
- Account name: Enter the name of the account.

In the Container box, enter a name for the container.

Click SAVE.
