Use the Express Configuration to Add Azure Apps for SharePoint Online

You can add Azure apps for SharePoint Online using the express configuration option, which automates some configuration steps. The express configuration automatically syncs and authorizes the Azure app with Azure.

Procedure

  1. From the navigation pane, go to Protect > Office 365.

    The Office 365 Overview page appears.

  2. On the Apps tab, click the app.

    The Overview page of the app appears.

  3. On the Configuration tab, In the SharePoint connection settings area, click Add azure app.

    The Add Azure App tool appears.

  4. Select Express configuration (Recommended), and then click Next.

    The Connection Details tab appears.

  5. Click Sign in with Microsoft.

    A Microsoft window displays all the permissions that are required to access the Azure app.

    If the browser pop-up blocker blocks the Microsoft window, allow access to the Microsoft window.

  6. At the bottom of the Microsoft window, click Accept.

  7. In the Configure an Azure app dialog box, click Close.

  8. Click Next.

    The Summary tab appears.

  9. Click Close.

After the configuration has been completed successfully, the Azure certificate will be added to the Azure app automatically.
