Restoring an Entire Table to Its Original Location for Dynamics 365

You can restore entire Dynamics 365 tables to the location that they were backed up from.

Procedure

  1. From the navigation pane, go to Protect > Dynamics 365.

    The Apps tab appears.

  2. Click the app that contains the table you want to restore.

    The Overview tab appears.

  3. On the Apps tab, click the Dynamics 365 app.

    The Overview tab appears.

  4. On the Tables tab, select the checkbox beside the table that you want to restore, and then click Restore > Restore table.

    The Restore options tool appears.

  5. On the Destination tab, leave Restore the data to its original location selected, and then click Next.

    The Options tab appears.

  6. Beside If the record exists, specify which items to include in the restore, and then click Next:

    • To not overwrite existing records, select Skip.

    • To overwrite existing records, select Unconditionally overwrite.

    • To include deleted items in the restore, select Include deleted items.

    • To restore any records related to a record, select Restore related records.

    • To restore a deleted table on source, select Create table if it does not exist on source.

    The Review tab appears.

  7. Review the records you selected for restore, and then click Submit to start the restore operation.

    The Summary tab appears.

  8. Click Close.
