You can restore the Google Drive users and their files to their original location (in place), or to a different Google Drive account (out of place).
After the restore is complete, you can view all the associated details of the restore job. For more information, see Viewing Restore Operation Details.
Post Restore

If a file is restored from a user account to another (Out-of-place restore), post restore the previous link with which the file was shared does not work. However, the file can be accessed from the Shared with me tab for the users with whom the file is shared before restoration.

If the user or shared drive file is restored to another shared drive, it can be accessed by all the users who have access to the destination shared drive. Additionally, the file can be accessed from the Shared with me tab for the users with whom the file is shared before restoration.
