You can use the Commvault Cloud software to back up and restore Google Drive.
Backups
Backups can be run on demand by the user or according to the schedule and settings that are specified in the backup plan associated with the Google Drive app.
Backups run automatically every 8 hours. If a backup is already running, then the 8-hour-interval backup is skipped.

-
Schedule 2: A backup job for items that meet the SLA but were not recently backed up runs every 8 hours. The job is committed after 22 hours. It includes all items that are more than 17 hours old but less than 30 days old.
-
-
On demand: You can perform on-demand backups at any time.
Restores
Backups You Can Use for Restores
-
The most recent backup: For example, restore the most recent backup to its original location.
-
A backup from a specific date: For example, restore data to a point in time before it became unusable.
-
Backups from a date range: For example, restore data that was accidentally deleted.
Destinations You Can Restore To

The current location (in place)
-
A different user/shared drive (out of place)
Authentication

Autodiscovery of Users
By default, autodiscovery runs every 24 hours to update users, user groups, and shared drives from the Google Cloud.
