To verify that the Google Drive app is set up correctly, perform a test backup and restore.
Back Up the Users

From the navigation pane, go to Protect > Google Workspace.
The Google Workspace Overview page appears.

On the Apps tab, click the Google Drive app.
The Overview page of the app appears.

In the row for the app, click the action button
, and then click Backup.
The Backup options dialog box appears.

Under the Advanced options, from the Items to backup list, select the users that you want to backup.

Set the Enable total running time as required.

Click SUBMIT.
Restore the Users

From the navigation pane, go to Protect > Google Workspace.
The Google Workspace Overview page appears.

On the Apps tab, click the Google Drive app.
The Overview page of the app appears.

In the row for the app, click the action button
, and then click Restore.

Select the users that you want to restore, and then click Restore.

Leave the options for restoring to the original location selected.

Click NEXT.

Leave the default options selected.

Click NEXT.
The Review page of the configuration wizard appears.

Review the items to be restored.

Click SUBMIT.
The Summary page of the configuration wizard appears.

The Summary page displays the restore job details.

Click CLOSE.
