Manually Managing Power for the Cloud MediaAgent

After you set up power management for the cloud Backup Gateway, consider the following points:

• Do not turn on or turn off the Backup Gateway from the console that is provided by the cloud service provider.

• When the Backup Gateway is performing any operation, you cannot turn off the Backup Gateway.

You can manually perform power management for a cloud Backup Gateway from the Backup Gateways list.

Procedure

1. From the Command Center navigation pane, go to Manage > Infrastructure.

   The Infrastructure page appears.

2. Click the Backup Gateway tile.

   The Backup Gateway page appears.

3. In the Power management area, click Edit.

   The Edit power management dialog box appears.

4. Tap Power on option.

5. Click Save.
