Global Command Center - Upgrading Commvault Cloud Software on a Server Group

You can install the most recent Commvault Cloud feature release on servers in a server group.

Procedure

  1. From the Global Command Center navigation pane, go to Config blueprint > Server groups.

    The Server groups page appears.

  2. For the server group you want to upgrade, click the action button action_button and then click Upgrade software.

    The Confirm software upgrade dialog box appears.

  3. To configure the reboot settings, select one of the following:

    • Do not reboot: This option will not reboot the server after the software upgrade.

    • Reboot if required: This option will reboot the server only if necessary after the software upgrade.

    • Always reboot: This option will always reboot the server after the software upgrade.

  4. To install any diagnostic updates available in the cache, select Install Diagnostic Updates present in cache (if applicable).

  5. To receive an email notification when the upgrade is complete, select Notify user on job completion.

  6. Click Yes.
