Exchange in the Office 365 Backup Health Report

The Exchange tab in the Office 365 Backup Health report displays information about the backup status of mailboxes on each client in the environment.

Filters

  • Exchange Clients: To view information only for specific client, click this button, and then select one or more clients.

  • Client Groups: To view information only for specific client groups, click this button, and then select one or more client groups.

  • Time Frame: To view information for a specific time range, click this button, and then select one of the time options. By default, Last 3 Days is selected.

  • Options:

    To view information for clients that meet the following conditions, click Options, and then select Show backup disabled clients.

    • Backups are disabled for the client.

    • The license for the client is released.

    • The client is excluded from the SLA (service level agreement).

    • The tenant is deactivated or disabled.

    To view the backup status of all mailboxes that are associated with the client, click Options, and then select Show all mailboxes.

Status Tiles

  • Associated Mailboxes: The total number of unique mailboxes on all clients in the environment.

  • Mailboxes Backed-up: The number of unique mailboxes that were backed up recently.

  • Mailboxes Not Backed-up: The number of unique mailboxes that were not backed up recently.

  • Mailboxes Backed-up (at least once): The number of unique mailboxes that were backed up at least one time.

  • Mailboxes Never Backed-up: The number of unique mailboxes that were never backed up.

  • Mailboxes Recently Added: The number of unique mailboxes that were added recently.

Backup Health Status for Exchange Clients

The Exchange Clients table displays information about each client and the status of its associated mailboxes.

Column

Description

Client Name

The name of the client where the mailbox is located.

Associated Mailboxes

The number of unique mailboxes associated with the client.

Mailboxes Backed-up

The number of unique mailboxes on the client computer that were backed up recently.

Mailboxes Not Backed-up

The number of unique mailboxes on the client that were not backed up recently.

Mailboxes Never Backed-up

The number of unique mailboxes on the client that were never backed up.

Mailboxes Not Backed-up

The Mailboxes Not Backed-up table displays information about the mailboxes that have not been backed up recently.

Column

Description

Name

The first and last name associated with the email address.

Email Address

The unique email address for the mailbox that was not backed up recently.

Last Backup

The date and time of the last backup that ran for the mailbox.

Backup Status

The status of the last backup job that ran for the mailbox.

Failure Reason

The reason that the most recent backup failed.

Backup Size

The size of the mailbox data that was included in the last backup job.

Number of Emails

The number of emails in the mailbox.
