The automatic discovery job for storage accounts runs every 24 hours, based on predefined rules. You can also discover the storage accounts in an Azure subscription on demand.
Discover Azure Blob Storage Accounts
The discovery job identifies storage accounts for backup based on predefined rules.

From the navigation pane, go to Protect > Object storage.
The Overview page appears.

On the Object storage groups tab, click the object storage group.
The object storage group name is Azure Blob Discovery by default.
The object storage group Overview page appears.

In the upper-right area of the page, click Discover instances.
You can monitor the Cloud Resource Discovery job from the Jobs page.
View Discovered Azure Blob Storage Accounts
You can view the storage accounts discovered based on the predefined rules.

From the navigation pane, go to Protect > Object storage.
The Overview page appears.

On the Object storage groups tab, click the object storage group.
The object storage group name is Azure Blob Discovery by default.
The object storage group Overview page appears.

On the Discovered instances tab, the discovered storage accounts are displayed.
