If you do not have a registered Azure app, register a new Azure app.

Complete the database guided setup using one of the following methods:

Direct to cloud: Use this method to back up Azure File shares that can be accessed via a public endpoint. This method uses the Commvault Cloud infrastructure, so you don't need to configure your own backup gateways.

Backup gateway: Use this method to back up Azure File shares that cannot be accessed using a public endpoint. This method requires installing a backup gateway backup gateway adjacent to your Azure File share.
