Configuring Backups for Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2

Complete the necessary setup for backing up Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2.

Procedure

1. Configure access to Azure resources.

2. Configure backups using one of the following methods:

   • Direct to cloud: Use this method to back up Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2 that can be accessed via a public endpoint. This method uses the Commvault Cloud infrastructure, so you don't need to configure your own backup gateways.

   • Backup gateway: Use this method to back up Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2 that cannot be accessed using a public endpoint. This method requires installing a backup gateway adjacent to your Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2.
