Adding Air Gap Protect Storage for a Backup Plan

You can bring Air Gap Protect storage to configure Google Cloud VM backups.

Procedure

1. Beside Storage region, click the add button , and then select Air Gap Protect.

   The Add Air Gap Protect dialog box appears.

2. From the Cloud storage provider list, verify that the Google Cloud Storage is selected.

3. For Storage class, verify that Hot tier is selected.

   For Google Cloud VM backups using the Air Gap Protect storage, you can have both primary and secondary backup copies for all VMs only in the Hot tier.

4. From the Region list, select the storage region.

5. Click Save.
