Use the express configuration option to create a Dynamics 365 app. The express configuration prompts you to create the Azure app that is needed for the Dynamics 365 app. Then the Commvault Cloud software automatically syncs the Azure app with Azure, authorizes the Azure app, and creates the Dynamics 365 app in the Commvault Cloud.
Procedure

From the Command Center navigation pane, go to Service Catalog.

On the Dynamics 365 tile, click Configure.

Start the D365 trial or continue to the configuration page:

If you have never configured a Dynamics 365 app before, the Dynamics 365 configuration page appears.

Click Start Trial.
The Configure Dynamics 365 message box appears. You must wait while the Commvault Cloud software activates the Commvault Cloud subscription, creates plans for D365 backups.

When this process is complete, click Close.

If you have configured a Dynamics 365 app before, the Dynamics 365 Trial message appears.

Click Continue.
The Create Dynamics 365 App page appears.

On the Region tab, from the Storage region list, select a region, and then click Next.
The Application tab appears.

In the Name box, enter a name for the Dynamics 365 application.

Select Express configuration (Recommended).

Click Sign in with Microsoft.
A Microsoft window displays all the permissions that are required to access the Azure app.
If the browser pop-up blocker blocks the Microsoft window, allow access to the Microsoft window.
The user account that is used to acquire the token must be a global administrator, a Dynamics 365 administrator, or a member of all the Dynamics 365 environments in the organization. The global administrator user that is used to create the Azure app should not be deleted.

At the bottom of the Microsoft window, click Accept.

In the Configure an Azure app dialog box, click Close.

On the Application tab, click Create.
The Summary tab appears.

Click Close.
