Viewing the Salesforce Permission Report

To determine whether a user has the permissions that are required to back up and restore Salesforce applications, use the Permission Report.

On the User Permission tab, the Permission Report shows whether the user has the necessary Object, File, and Metadata permissions.

If a user has a permission, a tick icon is displayed for the permission. Else, a cross icon is displayed.

On the Field Permissions tab, the Permission Report displays all fields that the user does not have read access to.

Note

If fields are not accessible to the user, they are not included in the backup.
