You can use the Google Authenticator mobile app to generate a unique 6-digit PIN, which is required when two-factor authentication (which is a form of multi-factor authentication) is enabled in the Commvault MSP Portal.
Before You Begin

Find your secret key. The secret key was emailed to you when you first tried to acquire a PIN. For more information, see Acquiring a PIN.

Install Google Authenticator on a mobile device that uses one of the following operating systems:

Android 2.2 or a more recent release

Apple iOS 7.0 or a more recent release

Procedure

Open Google Authenticator on your mobile device.

Tap +.

Tap Enter a setup key.
The Enter account details screen appears.

Enter the following details:

In the Account field, enter a name for the account (for example, "Commvault" or the name of your Commvault Cloud account).

In the Key field, enter the secret key.

In the drop-down list, select Time based.

Tap Add.

To add more accounts to Google Authenticator, repeat Step 2 through Step 4, above. Note that each account needs its own secret key.
