Troubleshooting Using the Office 365 Backup Health Report

The following errors occur during Office 365 backup operations and appear in the Office 365 Backup Health report. You can resolve some of these errors yourself without opening a support ticket.

Never Backed Up

Verify whether this is a new client or a recently added entity. If the client or entity is new, it's OK that it has not been backed up yet, but backup operations should begin soon. If backups for a new client fail to run for a long time, create a support ticket.

Not Backed Up in Selected Time Period

In the Entities Not Backed-up table, under Failure Reason, the message explains how to resolve the issue. If no message appears, then create a support ticket.

No Failure Reason or Message is Unclear

In the Entities Not Backed-up table, under Failure Reason, the message should explain how to resolve any issues. If no message appears or if you cannot understand the message, then create a support ticket.
