Storage Options for In-Guest Agent Backups

Commvault Cloud supports many combinations of options for primary (local) and secondary (cloud) storage for your in-guest agent backups.

Notes

Cross region is not supported.
Cross region within the same cloud provider is supported. Configuring secondary copy in different region will result in inter-region data transfer cost.
Cross cloud is supported only for the backup gateway method. Configuring secondary copy in different region will result in egress data transfer costs.
Applies only to on-premises workloads.
The storage option is only available if you skip the local storage configuration.
