Step 6: Add DC Promotion Targets to the Server Group for Recovered Domain Controllers

Add the domain controllers you configured with the Promote server to domain controller option in the runbook to the recovered domain controllers server group so Commvault Cloud can communicate with the DCs during forest recovery.

1. From the Command Center navigation pane, go to Manage > Server groups.

   The Server groups page appears.

2. Click the server group for recovered domain controllers.

   The server group page appears.

3. Click Edit associations.

   The Edit associations dialog box appears.

4. Leave Manual association selected.

5. Click Add server.

   The Add server dialog box appears.

6. Select all the VMs you selected the Promote server to domain controller option for.

7. Click Save.
