Domain Controllers Page

Important

  • Include multiple DCs from each AD domain so that recovery can complete successfully even if one DC encounters problems.

  • For at least one domain controller in each AD domain, you must select the Create new domain controller VM from backup recovery option. For more information, see Specifying the Recovery Option for Domain Controllers for Active Directory Forest Recovery. If you don't select the Create new domain controller VM from backup recovery option for at least one DC for a domain, then that domain is removed from the recovered forest and all its metadata is cleaned up.

  1. Beside the name of each domain controller you want to include in the runbook, do the following:

    1. Click the action button action_button, and then select Configure recovery option.

The Configure recovery option dialog box appears.

    2. For Recovery option, select a recovery option.

    3. Click Submit.

  2. At the bottom of the wizard, click Close.

    The runbook page appears.
