Setup Considerations for Endpoint

Before using the Endpoint solution, add an antivirus exclusion.

  • Linux and Macintosh: Add an antivirus exclusion for the installation path: /opt/metallic.

  • Windows: Add an antivirus exclusion for the installation path: Metallic_installation_directory\Metallic\Contentstore. For example, add C:\Program Files\Metallic\ContentStore.

  • If outbound traffic to TCP 80/443 is restricted, you must include the necessary Commvault Cloud Network Proxy IP range found in Commvault Cloud Customer Support Portal.
