Setting the Commvault Cloud Backup Gateway in Maintenance Mode

You can set a Commvault Cloud Backup Gateway into maintenance mode to temporarily suspend the operations on the Commvault Cloud Backup Gateway.

When you set a Commvault Cloud Backup Gateway in maintenance mode, current jobs running on the Commvault Cloud Backup Gateway, goes into a waiting state until another Commvault Cloud Backup Gateway runs it. New jobs will not be started on the Commvault Cloud Backup Gateway.

Procedure

1. From the navigation pane, go to Manage > MediaAgents.

   The MediaAgents page appears.

2. Click the Commvault Cloud Backup Gateway that you want to set into maintenance mode.

   The Commvault Cloud Backup Gateways page appears.

3. In the Control section, do one of the following:

   • To turn-on the maintenance mode, move the Maintenance mode toggle key to the right.

   • To turn-off the maintenance mode, move the Maintenance mode toggle key to the left.
