A server is a computer where you have installed one or more Commvault Cloud software packages.

You can perform the following operations on a server:

• Add additional Commvault Cloud packages

• Update the Commvault Cloud packages

• Retire the server

You can add an additional server to reduce the load on existing servers, or when you need to replace an existing server.
