Sending Log Files

You can send the log files for jobs to the FTP server.

Procedure

1. From the Commvault MSP Portal, go to Managed Accounts.

   The Managed Accounts page appears.

2. Click Manage all accounts.

   The Companies page opens in the Command Center.

3. From the navigation pane, do one of the following:

   • For active jobs, go to Jobs > Active jobs (for active jobs).

     The Active Jobs page appears.

   • For completed jobs, go to Jobs > Job History (for completed jobs).

     The Job History page appears.

4. In the Actions column for a job, click the action button , and then click Send logs.

   The Send log files page for that job appears.

5. Under General, enter additional job ID numbers.

6. Select Wait for jobs to complete if you want the jobs to complete before sending the logs.

7. To send the logs to the default location, under Output, select Auto upload.

8. Under Information, select the type of logs to include (for example, select CommServe database, OS logs, etc.).

9. Under Advanced, select additional information and options to include (for example, select Process dump, Database logs, etc.).

10. Under Notification, select options for notifying users and user groups when you send the log files.

11. Click Send logs.
