Restoring a OneDrive for Business User Account to a Folder

You can restore an entire OneDrive for Business user account to a newly created OneDrive folder. This option allows you to copy only the content you want to new folders.

Procedure

  1. From the navigation pane, go to Protect > Office 365.

    The Office 365 Overview page appears.

  2. On the Apps tab, click the app.

    The Overview page of the app appears.

  3. On the Users tab, select a user account, and then at the top area of the page, click Restore > Restore user.

    The Restore Options tool appears.

  4. On the Date and Time tab, specify the Recovery point date and time and click Next.

    The Destination tab appears.

  5. Select Create new OneDrive folders and restore to them selected, and then click Next.

    The Review tab appears.

  6. Review the items you selected for restore, and then click Next to start the restore operation.

    The Summary tab appears.

  7. Click Close.
