Perform a Test Restore for OneDrive for Business

To verify that the OneDrive for Business app is set up correctly, perform a test restore.

Restore the Mailbox

  1. From the navigation pane, go to Protect > Office 365.

    The Office 365 Overview page appears.

  2. On the Apps tab, click the app.

    The Overview page of the app appears.

  3. Click the Users tab.

    Contents for all users in the OneDrive for Business app appear.

  4. From the list, select the user that you want to restore.

  5. At the top-right area of the page, click Restore and select Restore user.

    The Restore options tool appears.

  6. On the Date and Time tab, specify the Recovery point date and time and click Next.

    The Destination tab appears.

  7. Leave the options for restoring to the original location selected, and then click Next.

    The Review tab appears.

  8. Click Next.

    The Summary tab appears.

  9. Click Close.
