You can protect Oracle Database@Azure using Commvault Cloud software.
Getting Started
Complete the following steps in the Azure Portal and in the Commvault Cloud Command Center.
Setting up the Azure Subscription
Create both a VM and a storage account in the same Azure subscription where the Oracle ExaCS infrastructure is located.

In the Azure portal, create a VM. Assign the same VNet used for this private offering and the related subnet. This VM is used as a Backup Gateway to back up the ExaCS database.

Create a storage account.
Creating a Database for Oracle Database@Azure
Create the database in the Commvault Cloud Command Center.

From the navigation pane, go to Service Catalog.
The Service Catalog page appears.

On the Database tile, click Configure.
The Select a Database Application page appears.

Select Oracle
The Configure Oracle database server page appears.

Select Database running in the cloud VM, configure the vendor and DB service, and then click Next:

From the Select vendor list, select Microsoft Azure from the list.

From the DB Service type list, select Oracle RAC (multi-node)
The Backup method overview page appears and displays information about the backup method used for the database.

Read the information about the method used to back up the databases, and then click Next.
The Configure Oracle Database Server on Microsoft Azure Cloud tool appears.

Under Select A Region, select the region where the cloud storage is located, and then click Next.
The Select Cloud Storage page appears.

From the Primary copy list, select the cloud storage that you created in the Azure portal, and then click Next.
The Select A Plan page appears.

Select or configure a backup plan, and then click Next:

Add a new backup plan, click the refresh icon to refresh the backup plan list, and then select the backup plan.

If there is a backup plan already associated with the cloud storage, click Next.
The Install the Oracle Database Server Package on Your Database Server page appears.

Select Interactive installation, and then follow the on-screen instructions:

Download the Oracle package, and then install it on the server you want to back up.

Copy the authcode, and then use it to authenticate the Oracle package on the server.

From the Server name drop-down list, select the name of the newly installed server.

Click Next.
The Backup Content page appears. All Oracle database server instances running on the new server will be automatically discovered and backed up, according to the backup plan you selected.

Click Next.
The Summary page appears.

Click Finish.
Managing an Oracle Database@Azure
After you create an Oracle Database@Azure, you can configure, back up, and restore content using instructions in Oracle RAC.
