    • In the Additional Details box, enter the following details:

      • The names of your HyperScale nodes

      • The FQDN of your HyperScale nodes

      • The region to which your HyperScale cluster will be copying data

  • You will receive an email from Commvault Cloud support with the details needed to connect to the region-specific Server Gateway during the setup.

Commvault Cloud Credentials

Commvault Cloud credentials are required to authenticate with the Server Gateway. These are the same credentials that are used to access the Metallic console. Credentials can be one of the following, depending on the method used for authentication:

  • If your environment uses Commvault Cloud Credentials, you will require the Username and Password associated with the Commvault Cloud tenant administrator.

  • If your environment uses an authcode for installation, you will require the Authorization code. Authorization code can be viewed as follows:

    • Log on to https://login.metallic.io/.

    • From the navigation pane, go to Manage > Company. The company page appears.

    • The authorization code is displayed against the Requires authcode for installation option.
