You can modify the number of streams to increase the speed of backup operations for subclients. Configuring multiple streams for data backups allows the Commvault Cloud software to use the same number of streams during restore.
Note
The modified number of streams will only be used for database backups. Two streams are used for log backups.
Procedure

From the navigation pane, go to Protect > Databases.
The Overview page appears.

On the Instances tab, click the SQL instance.
The instance page appears.

On the Subclients tab, click the subclient.
The subclient page appears.

In the Settings section, beside Number of data streams, click the Edit button
, and then enter the number of streams. -
Click Save.
