You can modify the permissions of laptop owners to perform only specific actions on the Commvault Cloud software on their laptops. These permissions appear on the associated laptop plan page in the Command Center. The laptop owners are users or groups set as owners of the laptops associated with the plan.
For example, you can select the Download permission so the laptop owner can download one or more files and folders from the Command Center onto the local machine. Or, you can remove the selection from the Browse permission so the laptop owner cannot view the backup content.
Procedure

From the navigation pane, go to Manage > Plans.
The Plans page appears.

In the row corresponding to the laptop plan for which you want to modify permissions, click the plan.
The plan page appears.

On the Overview tab, in the Permissions tile, click edit
.
The Manage permissions dialog box appears.

Select the required permissions or remove the selections for specific permissions.

Click Save.
Results
The laptop owners can only perform actions according to your selected permissions.
