End-users and administrators can transfer backed up data from one computer to another by using the Metallic console migration.
Before You Begin
Gather the following information before you use the Metallic console migration:

Both the source computer and the destination computer must have the laptop package installed.

Credentials to log on to the Metallic software.

Determine the name of the source computer (the computer to transfer the data from).

The source and the destination computer must have the same OS versions.

On the source computer, the Well-Known folders must be backed up.

Determine the Well-Known folders that you want to transfer. If the source computer has multiple user profiles, you can transfer the Well-Known folders of any user profile from the source computer to the destination computer. Before migration, verify that the destination computer must have the same user profile as present in the source computer.
Procedure

From the navigation pane, go to Protect > Laptop.
The Laptop page appears.

In the Name column, click the laptop for which you want to migrate the data.
The laptop page appears.

Click Restore.
The Backup content page appears.

Browse and navigate to user account from which you want to migrate the data.
For example, go to default > Users > user name.

To view the user settings, perform one of the following operation as an administrator or end user:

For administrator, click the action icon
and then click Show user settings.

For end user, click settings
and then click Show user settings.
Note
When you select the user settings, then only in-place restore is applicable, and both the destination and source laptop must have the same user account.

Select the data that you want to migrate.

Click Restore.
The Restore options dialog box appears.

Click Restore.
