Integrating the Commvault MSP Portal with ServiceNow

You can integrate the Commvault MSP Portal with ServiceNow software.

Procedure

1. From the Commvault MSP Portal, at the top of the page, click Manage All Accounts.

   The Command Center appears.

2. Click Manage > System.

   The System page appears.

3. Click the ServiceNow Integration tile.

   The ServiceNow Integration page appears.

4. On the Configuration tab, in the General section, click the edit button .

   The Edit dialog box appears.

5. Enter the ServiceNow URL.

6. To create a new credential, do the following:

   1. Next to Credential, click the Create New button .

      The Add credential dialog box appears.

   2. Enter the following information:

      • Account type: This field is pre-populated with Cloud Account.

      • Vendor type: This field is pre-populated with ServiceNow.

      • Authentication Type: Select User Account.

      • Credential Vault: Select Built-In.

      • Credential name: Enter a name for the new credential.

      • User account: Enter the ServiceNow user name.

      • Password: Enter the ServiceNow user password.

   3. Click Save.
