Getting Started with Azure Table Storage

Complete the necessary setup for backing up Azure Table Storage data.

Procedure

1. Verify that your environment meets the system requirements for Azure Table Storage.

2. Configure access to Azure resources.

3. Complete the database guided setup using one of the following methods:

   • Direct to cloud: Use this method to back up Azure Table Storage tables that can be accessed via a public endpoint. This method uses the Commvault Cloud infrastructure, so you don't need to configure your own backup gateways.

   • Backup gateway: Use this method to back up Azure Table Storage tables that cannot be accessed using a public endpoint. This method requires installing a backup gateway adjacent to your Azure Table Storage system.
