Getting Started with the Azure Active Directory Application

Verify that your environment meets the system requirements, configure the Azure Active Directory (AD) application, and then perform a test backup and restore.

Procedure

1. Verify that your environment meet the system requirements for Azure Active Directory.

2. Install the Active Directory agent on the access node on which you want to configure the Azure AD application.

3. Configure the Azure AD application:

   • Use your global administrator account to configure the Azure AD application.

   • If multi-factor authentication is enabled for your global administrator account, you must manually configure the Azure AD app.

4. Perform a backup.

5. Perform a restore.
