You can exclude Salesforce metadata from backups. By default, the Commvault Cloud software includes the Salesforce metadata in backups.
Note
Metadata from a managed package is not included in backups. Metadata from a managed package, such as Apex classes, triggers, and Lightning Web Components, are only accessible to the provider of the managed package.
Procedure

From the navigation pane, go to Protect > Salesforce.
The Salesforce Overview page appears.

Go to the Organizations tab.

In the Name column, click the app.
The app details page appears.

On the Overview tab, in the Content tile, click Edit
.The Content dialog box appears.

Next to Backup content, clear the Metadata check box.

Click Save.
