If a client does not have internet access and needs to connect to the Commvault Cloud infrastructure via a local backup gateway, then you can enable a network gateway role for an existing backup gateway server that has internet access.
Procedure

From the navigation pane in the Command Center, go to Manage > Servers.
The Servers page appears.

Click a gateway server.
The server page appears.

On the Configuration tab, in the Network settings tile, click the edit button
.The Edit network settings dialog box appears.

Select the Enable network gateway box, and then click Save.

During installation of the end client, enter this backup gateway hostname in the installer screen.
