Data Views for the Google Workspace Backup Health Report

Using the Google Workspace Backup Health Report, you can view the backup status for any Google Workspace application.

The Google Workspace Backup Health report displays information about the backup status of entities on each client in the environment.

Filters

  • Gmail or Google Drive Clients: To view information only for specific clients, click this button, and then select one or more clients.

  • Companies/Client Groups: To view information only for specific client groups, click this button, and then select a specific company or client group.

  • Time Frame: To view information for a specific time range, click this button, and then select one of the time options. By default, Last 3 Days is selected.

  • Options:

    • Show backup disabled clients:To view information for all the clients including those whose backup activity is disabled, license is released, are excluded from SLA (Service Level Agreement), or have the tenant deactivated or disabled, click Options, and then click this button.

    • Show all entities: To view the backup status for all associated entities, click Options, and then click this button.

    • Show only valid entities: To view the backup status for only valid entities, click Options, and then click this button.

    • Show all entities (include deleted): To view the backup status for all the entities including the deleted entities, click Options, and then click this button.

Status Tiles

  • Associated Entities: The number of unique entities associated with all the clients.

  • Entities Backed-up: The number of unique entities that were backed up recently.

  • Entities Not Backed-up: The number of unique entities that were not backed up recently.

  • Entities Backed-up (at least once): The number of unique entities that were backed up at least one time.

  • Entities Never Backed-up: The number of unique entities that were never backed up.

  • Entities Recently Added: The number of unique entities that were added in the last seven days.

  • Discovery Needs Attention: The number of unique entities that requires your attention.

  • Entities Need Attention: The number of unique entities that requires your attention.

  • Index Need Attention: The number of indexes that requires your attention.

Backup Health Status for Google Workspace Clients

The Google Workspace Clients table displays information about each client and the status of its associated entities.

Column

Description

Client Name

The name of the client that the entities are on.

Client Status

The status of the client that the entities are on.

Associated Entities

The number of unique entities that are on the client.

Entities Backed-up

The number of unique entities on the client that were backed up recently.

Entities Not Backed-up

The number of unique entities on the client that were not backed up recently.

Entities Never Backed-up

The number of unique entities on the client that were never backed up.
