Creating a Tenant Account

You can create Commvault MSP Portal tenant accounts.

Procedure

1. From the Commvault MSP Portal, go to Managed Accounts.

   The Managed Accounts page appears.

2. Click New account.

   The Create new account page appears.

3. Enter the tenant information.

   Note

   • The Customer ID is the MSP's internal customer ID for the tenant (for example, a Salesforce ID number).

   • (Optional.) Under Account type, you can select one of the following (note that these are for reporting purposes only):

     • INTERNAL: An internal-only account.

     • POC: Proof of concept account.

     • PRODUCTION: Production account.

     If the account type is not set to Production, the tenant name will not be displayed in the support portal.

     To open a support case for Internal or POC account types, the MSP must select tenants by their subscription ID.

4. In Metallic Services, select the Commvault Cloud products used by the tenant.

5. Click Create.
