Configuring Software Updates for Remote Office Appliance RO1200

Commvault Cloud software updates will be automatically installed in the Remote Office Appliance RO1200 whenever new updates are released.

OS (Operating System) updates must be setup initially. Once setup, OS updates will be automatically downloaded and installed along with Commvault Cloud software updates.

Procedure

  1. From the navigation pane, go to Manage > Servers.

    The Servers page appears.

  2. In the Name column, click the appliance to install software updates.

    The server properties page appears.

  3. On the Configuration tab, in the Administration section, move the Manage Windows OS updates toggle key to the right.

  4. Click the action button action_button circle with vertical dots, in the upper-right corner of the page, and then click Update software.

    The Confirm software update dialog box appears.

  5. To reboot the appliance if it is required, move the Reboot if required toggle key to the right.

  6. Optional:To receive an email message when the operation is complete, select the When the job completes, notify me via email check box.

  7. Click Yes.

This will enable OS updates, and the necessary updates will be automatically downloaded and installed, the next time the Commvault Cloud software updates are installed.
