You can create an ExpressRoute circuit using the Azure portal and the Azure Resource Manager deployment model. You can also check the status, update, delete, or deprovision a circuit.
An ExpressRoute circuit can be used to protect on-premises workloads using the direct to cloud method. However, for RPO and RTO requirements shorter than 4 hours, we recommend using the backup via gateway method.
Configuring Azure ExpressRoute
As the ExpressRoute is completely transparent to Air Gap Protect, no additional approval or configuration is required for Air Gap Protect.
