To reset your cleanroom site, you can clean up all the recovered entities in a recovery group—both automatically and on-demand. Cleanup is useful for cyber recovery testing and for restarting a cleanroom recovery operation when only some entities are recovered successfully.
Cleanup removes recovered entities from Commvault Cloud and changes the status of the recovered entities to Cleaned up.
Configure Automatic Cleanup
You can enable automatic cleanup of entities in a recovery group and specify the number of days the Commvault Cloud waits before cleaning up the entities.
When automatic cleanup is enabled, by default, entities are cleaned up 7 days after recovery on the production CommServe and 4 hours before CommServe expiry on the control plane CommServe.
-
From the Command Center navigation pane, go to Cleanroom > Recovery groups.
-
Click the recovery group.
-
On the Configuration tab, in the Cleanup options section, enable the Clean up entities after recovery toggle key.
-
For Cleanup interval (in days), click the edit button.

Enter the number of days after recovery that you want Commvault Cloud to wait before cleaning up the entities.
-
Click Submit.
