Back Up Nutanix Files Data

You can perform a full, incremental, or synthetic full backup of the CIFS shares and NFS exports.

Procedure

1. From the navigation pane, go to Protect > Files.

   The Overview page appears.

2. Go to the Files tab, and then click the file server.

   The file server page appears.

3. To back up CIFS share, go to the Protocols tile, and then click CIFS.

   The CIFS Overview page appears.

   To back up NFS exports, go to the Protocols tile, and then click NFS.

   The NFS Overview page appears.

4. On the Subclients tab, in the row for the subclient that you want to back up, click the action button , and then click Backup.

   The Backup dialog box appears.

5. For Backup options, select the backup type.

6. Click Submit.
