Adding a Workload Resource Pool for a DevOps

For each region and solution type, you can have only one workload resource pool. You can modify the properties of a workload resource pool.

When a workload resource pool is set up for the DevOps solution in a region, tenant administrators can create a DevOps app by selecting that region in the hosted infrastructure dropdown and use the access nodes configured in the workload resource pool.

Procedure

  1. From the navigation pane, go to Manage > Infrastructure > Resource pools.

    The Resource pools page appears

  2. On the Workload resource pool tab, in the upper-right area of the page, click Add Workload.

The Add workload resource pool page appears.

  3. In the Name box, enter a name for the resource pool.

  4. From the Region list, select the region where the Azure DevOps data is located.

  5. From the Solution type list, select DevOps.

  6. In Access node type, specify the OS of the access node for Azure DevOps.

  7. From the Access nodes list, select the access nodes to use for the resource pool.

  8. In the Staging path box, enter a UNC path that is accessible to the access nodes that you selected.

  9. If the destination path is a network or NFS share, specify a user account with sufficient permissions to access the share by moving the Impersonate User toggle key to the right, and then entering a User name and Password.

  10. Click Save.
