Adding MS Exchange User Mailbox Data Sources to an Existing Project

You can add MS Exchange User Mailbox data sources to an existing project. After a data source is crawled, the personally identifiable information (PII) (entities) defined in the data classification plan associated with the project is discovered in the data source.

Before You Begin

  • Gather the following information:

    • The country where the server is located.

    • The user mailboxes to use as data sources.

Procedure

  1. From the navigation pane, go to Data Insights > Risk Analysis.

    The Risk Distribution Dashboard appears.

  2. Click the Projects tab.

    The tab appears, showing the Projects overview report.

  3. Click a MS Exchange project name.

    The Project dashboard appears.

  4. On the Data sources tab, click Add > Exchange.

    The Add Mailbox wizard appears.

  5. Under Server name, select one or more Exchange servers that you want to include in the project.

  6. Click Next.

    The Configuration page of the wizard appears.

Configuration

  1. For Display name, enter a name for the Exchange data source.

  2. Select a Country name for the data source.

  3. For Mailboxes, either select All mailboxes, or select from available Exchange mailboxes by performing the following steps:

    1. Select Select and add mailboxes.

      A selection panel appears.

    2. Click Add.

      The Select mailboxes dialog box appears.

    3. Select one or more Exchange maiboxes, and then click Save.
