Data Views for the Dynamics 365 Backup Health Report

The Dynamics365 Backup Health report displays information about the backup status of tables on each client in the environment.

Filters

  • D365 Clients: To view information only for specific clients, click this button, and then select one or more clients.

  • Client Groups: To view information only for specific client groups, click this button, and then select one or more client groups.

  • Time Frame: To view information for a specific time range, click this button, and then select one of the time options. By default, Last 3 Days is selected.

  • Options:

    • Show backup disabled clients:To view information for all the clients including those whose backup activity is disabled, license is released, are excluded from SLA (Service Level Agreement), or have the tenant deactivated or disabled, click Options, and then click this button.

    • Show all tables: To view the backup status for all associated tables, click Options, and then click this button.

Status Tiles

  • Associated Tables: The number of unique tables associated with all the clients.

  • Tables Backed-up: The number of unique tables that were backed up recently.

  • Tables Not Backed-up: The number of unique tables that were not backed up recently.

  • Tables Backed-up (at least once): The number of unique tables that were backed up at least one time.

  • Tables Never Backed-up: The number of unique tables that were never backed up.

  • Tables Recently Added: The number of unique tables that were added in the last seven days.

Backup Health Status for Dynamics 365 Clients

The Dynamics365 Clients table displays information about each client and the status of its associated tables.

Column

Description

Client Name

The name of the client that the tables are on.

Associated Tables

The number of unique tables that are on the client.

Tables Backed-up

The number of unique tables on the client that were backed up recently.

Tables Not Backed-up

The number of unique tables on the client that were not backed up recently.

Tables Never Backed-up

The number of unique tables on the client that were never backed up.

Tables Not Backed-up

The Tables Not Backed-up table displays information about the tables that have not been backed up recently.

Column

Description

Name

The name of the table.

Instance

The instance for the table that was not backed up recently.

Last Backup

The date and time of the last backup that ran for the table.

Backup Status

The status of the last backup job that ran for the table.

Failure Reason

The reason that the most recent backup failed.

Backup Size

The size of the data that was included in the last backup job.

Number of Items

The number of rows backed up in the table.
