Searching OneDrive for Business Files

You can search the content of files, and metadata such as file name, folder name, and modified time. Data that is filtered from backup is not included in search.

Before You Begin

Content indexing must be enabled in the Office 365 plan. For more information, contact Commvault Cloud Support.

Procedure

  1. From the navigation pane, go to Protect > Office 365.

    The Office 365 apps page appears.

  2. Click the app that contains the users and user groups that you want to search.

    The app page appears.

  3. On the Users tab, in the row for the user that you want to search, click the action button action_button, and then click Restore > Restore files.

    The user details page appears.

  4. In the upper-right area of the page, click the Search box.

    Search criteria appear.

  5. Click Search.
