You can restore deleted Microsoft Teams and its channels along with posts, files, and wikis to the same teams. First, you restore the teams and its channels along with posts. Then, you can restore wikis for all channels and files for the private channel.
Caution
If a source team is deleted, a new team is created with a different GUID but the same name when the next restore runs. A new SharePoint site is also created because the team GUID is not the same as the source team.
Restore the Deleted Teams
Procedure

From the navigation pane, go to Protect > Office 365.
The Overview tab appears.

On the Apps tab, in the Name column, click the app that contains the team that you want to restore.
The Overview tab appears.

On the Teams tab, select the team that you want to restore, and then click Restore > Restore team/user.
The Restore Options tool appears.

On the Destination tab, under Microsoft Teams, leave Restore the data to its original location selected, and then click Next.
The Options tab appears.

Beside If the file exists, specify what to do with existing items:
-
To not overwrite existing items, select Skip.
-
To overwrite existing items, select Unconditionally overwrite.

To included deleted items in the restore, select Include deleted items, and then click Next.

Under Post options, specify where to restore the post:

To restore the post back to the place from where it was backed up, select Back to Posts tab.

To restore the post as an HTML file, select As HTML file under Files tab.
The HTML file is restored in a folder with the naming convention <RestorePosts_date_restore job ID>.

Review your selections, and then click Submit.
The Summary tab appears.

Click Close.
Results
The deleted teams and its channels along with posts are restored. But files are not restored for Private channel and wikis are not restored for any channel.
Manually Click the Wiki Tab and File Tab in the Teams App
If the Wiki tab is not present in Teams, to restore the wikis, you must first create the tab.
Procedure

In the Teams app, go to each channel of the restored teams.

Depending on the case whether Wiki tab exists or not, complete one of the following tasks:

If the Wiki tab does not exist, create it.

If the Wiki tab already exists, click the Wiki tab.
For a private channel, first click the File tab, and then click the Wiki tab.

Restore the Files and the Wikis
Before You Begin
Make sure to perform a discovery operation on the Teams client to get the latest teams list for that client.
Procedure

From the navigation pane, go to Protect > Applications > Office 365.
The Office 365 apps page appears.

In the Name column, click the app that contains the team that you want to restore.
The app page appears.

On the Teams tab, select the check box for the team that contains the items that you want to restore, click the Restore button, and then select Restore items.
The team restore page appears.

In the Name column, click the name of the channel that contains the items that you want to restore.
The items that you can restore appear.

Select the Wiki check box. For the private channel, select the Files and Wiki check boxes.

Click Restore.
The Restore options dialog box appears.

Under Microsoft Teams, click Restore the data to another location.

Specify the team to restore the data to:
-
For Destination team, specify the team that contains the channel that you want to restore the item to.
-
For Destination channel, specify the channel that you want to restore the item to.

Under File options, specify whether to overwrite existing files with the restore files.

Click Submit.
Results
The files and wikis are restored to their respective channels in teams.
