Applies to: File servers
You can view the trend of data in the fast-growing directories by folder size or file count for the selected server or server group at the tag level and directory level. The filters allow you to view the trend for folders or files associated to a specific tag set. To view the trend for a specific directory, drill-down to the directory by clicking on the associated tag name in the Trending Data section of the dashboard.
The dashboard displays weekly trend of the data for the past four weeks from the previous day by default. The percentage change along with upward or downward trend for the week over previous week is also displayed. The Monthly view displays trend for past four months from the previous day. You can export the report as a CSV for further analysis.
Notes
-
To ensure that all the directories are displayed on the dashboard, clear any filters that were applied to other dashboards.
-
The trend gets calculated once in 24 hours from the time you start/restart the Data Analytics Service from the Process Manager in the CommCell Console. For information on managing a service, see Controlling Commvault Services on Clients.
