As an MSP admin, you can use resource pools to provide Office 365 (Exchange Online, OneDrive for Business, SharePoint Online, Teams), Azure AD and Dynamics 365, backup services to the tenants using Office 365.After the resource pool is added, the tenant administrator can create Office 365 apps using minimum details.
To browse and restore Office 365 content as an MSP admin, you must be assigned the tenant admin role for the company. For more information, see Reseller Configurations.
Before You Begin
To avoid long-running backup jobs, you can configure the Server plan to auto-commit jobs after a specific time period. For more information and instructions, see KB article 82856.
Procedure

Add a resource pool. For more information, see Adding Resource Pools.

Create Office 365 apps for the tenant.

For the Office 365 apps, assign the Tenant Admin role to the tenant admin group:

From the navigation pane, go to Protect > Applications > Office 365.
The Office 365 apps page appears.

Click one of the tenant's Office 365 apps.
The app page appears.

On the Configuration tab, in the Security section, click Edit.
The Security dialog box appears.

From the role list, select the Tenant Admin role, and then click Add.

Click Save.

Select a server plan and at least one Office 365 plan for the company:

From the navigation pane, go to Manage > Companies.
The Companies page appears.

Select the company.
The company details page appears.

On the Overview tab,In the Plans section, click Edit.
The Edit plan dialog box appears.

Select a server plan.

Select at least one Office 365 plan.

Click Save.
